I was born and raised in Chico, graduated from Pleasant Valley High School, and went on to serve nearly 40 years in the United States Navy. I served as both an enlisted sailor and Navy nurse and retired as a Commander, with experience in emergency medicine, disaster response, and leadership.
After retiring, I came home to Chico to be close to family and give back to the community that raised me. My husband Robert and I have raised four children and share a lifelong commitment to military and public service.
I am running for Chico City Council District 4 to bring common sense, accountability, and transparency to City Hall. I believe keeping our neighborhoods safe must be a top priority, along with providing essential services, spending taxpayer dollars responsibly, and listening to the people who call Chico home.
